Our Pastor

Rev Sharon Dickinson first came to us in 2016, shortly after she was ordained as a Roman Catholic Womanpriest. She was raised in a devout front-pew Catholic family and first felt God’s call at the age of thirteen. But she could not imagine what that call could mean. While at university, a priest mentor gave her a vision of the possible when he gifted her with a small book on priestly discernment. She explored other denominations, but the call was not there. At last, she discovered the Roman Catholic Womanpriest movement and found a home there. Rev Sharon went to seminary at Andover Newton Theological School and is a board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She is the Director of Spiritual Care at Salem Hospital. She is married and has three grown children and one grandchild.

Rev Sharon identifies with every aspect of her Catholic heritage and upbringing except for one: she fully believes in the radical inclusion of every sacrament for every person.
